Led by former Australian of the year finalist, Dr Arlene Chan, the Breast Cancer Research Centre WA is a global leader in breast cancer treatment and patient support. Since 2000, the centre has conducted 80 clinical trials and achieved a remarkable 50% increase in survival rates for over 160 patients.

Prior to partnering with gtmedia, the BCRC was well-known among its peer and patients, but lacked awareness in the wider public. Our team was engaged to help the BCRC WA stand out in the already crowded research and advocacy space by telling the stories of its people, its work and its vision.

The key pillars of this strategy were patient driven, aggressive media relations and PR, underpinned by clear commercial objectives.
